BEHIND THE LENS

Who, you may ask, is Terri? It’s quite simple, I am a woman who loves her husband of 33 joyful years. I have a wonderful son and a gracious daughter in law. I am known as “Nana T” to 4 beautiful grandchildren, who, along with my close friends have been my muses through the years. I live each day in hopes of offering motivation to all I encounter; frankly, doing so inspires me. My Mom and Dad passed when I was very young. Growing up, I had only two precious photographs to cherish of my parents. This made me realize, very early on, the importance of capturing through pictures, the special people and places in your life and the times you share.

ARTIST STATEMENT

In my art, I like to capture the beauty of the places we visit every day.  I do not limit myself to particular subjects as my hope is to speak through my work to the true beauty that is in front of us that goes unnoticed.  I do not merely want to capture the image with my camera; rather, with careful thoughts of giving the image life once again.
